Read

Last Saturday, we drove to the beach early in the morning. The sun was warm, and we put our towels on the sand. The water was blue and clean. We swam and played ball games all morning.

Suddenly, dark clouds covered the sky, and the rain started. We ran to the car with our bags. We were wet and cold, but Mom had sandwiches and hot tea in a box. Soon we felt warm and dry again. We had a picnic in the car and played cards. Luckily, we had a great time.

At last, at 4:00, the rain stopped and the sun came back. The beach was almost empty. We swam again in the clean, quiet sea. It was the best part of the day.
