Full Speaking Simulation
The complete current speaking section in one sitting: 7 repeat sentences + a 4-question interview, about 8 minutes. No pausing between items — that pressure is the point.
Part 1 — Listen and Repeat
1. Welcome to our campus tour this morning.
2. We will begin our walk at the main gate.
3. The library is the tall building directly across the green.
4. After the science center, we will stop for questions by the fountain.
5. If you need the restroom, it is just inside the student union on your left.
6. At the end of the tour, feel free to visit any department that interests you most.
7. Before we head back, remember that the admissions office stays open until five, so you can pick up an application there.
Part 2 — Interview: Study Habits
Q1. Some students say they learn best when they study alone, while others prefer studying in groups. What do you think?
Q2. Tell me about a study method that has worked especially well for you. How did you discover it?
Q3. Many students find it hard to concentrate when they study at home. What do you think they should do to solve this problem?
Q4. Some students prefer to study early in the morning, and others prefer late at night. Which do you think is better?
Record your answer, play it back, and compare it with the model. Recordings stay in your browser — nothing is uploaded.
After finishing: score yourself with the rubric, then redo ONLY your weakest question type.
Self-evaluation checklist (after each recording)
This checklist is a self-study tool. It is NOT an official TOEFL score and no browser tool can give one — use it to find the one thing to fix next time.
