Scene: Hotel Check-In and Breakfast Questions

How to practice: first listen to the whole dialogue. Then play BOTH roles out loud — or take one role and answer the other from memory. When it flows, record the full dialogue below.

A Good evening! Welcome to the Austin Grand. How can I help you?

B Hi, I have a reservation under the name Ethan Miller.

A Let me check. Yes, Mr. Miller, two nights, one room.

B That’s right. Is breakfast included?

A Yes, it is. Breakfast is from six thirty to ten in the dining room.

B Great. And what’s the Wi-Fi password?

A It’s on this card. Your room is 412, on the fourth floor.

B Thank you. Is there a gym in the hotel?

A Yes, it’s next to the pool, and it’s open twenty-four hours.

B Perfect. One more thing — can I get a late checkout on Sunday?

A Of course. I’ll note checkout at noon for you.

B That’s wonderful. Thank you for your help!
