Stop saying: “She work at a hospital in Houston.”

Say instead: “She works at a hospital in Houston.” · A2 · Verb Forms

✗ Wrong

She work at a hospital in Houston.

✓ Correct

She works at a hospital in Houston.

Why?

In the present simple, verbs with he, she, or it end in s: she works, he plays, it rains. With I, you, we, and they, the verb has no s. This tiny s is one of the most common mistakes in English.
