Stop saying: “We arrived to the airport two hours early.”

Say instead: “We arrived at the airport two hours early.” · B1 · Prepositions

✗ Wrong

We arrived to the airport two hours early.

✓ Correct

We arrived at the airport two hours early.

Why?

Arrive is never followed by to. Use arrive at for a building or a specific place: at the airport, at the station. Use arrive in for a city: in Chicago, in New York. And with home, use no preposition at all: arrive home.
