B2 Core Campus Announcement
Instructions: skim the question stems, then press play and listen once, taking notes. Answer all 3 questions, check your score and error analysis — and only then open the study pack (transcript, vocabulary, paraphrases, model notes).
Announcer: Please note a change of venue. Due to overwhelming demand, Thursday evening's guest lecture by Dr. Evelyn Marsh, the historian, has been moved to the Whitmore Hall auditorium. The original lecture room holds only a hundred and twenty people, and in past years the line for her book signing has stretched out the door. The lecture will still begin at seven p.m. on Thursday, and if you already have a ticket, your ticket remains valid — you do not need a new one. Students without tickets can pick up a free ticket at the Student Union information desk until five p.m. on Wednesday, on a first-come, first-served basis.
