📖 Read — Shopping for the Party

Emma is making a birthday party for her brother. She is at the supermarket in Miami with a long list. “How many friends are coming?” her mother asks. “Twelve! I need a lot of snacks.”

Emma looks at her list. “How much juice do we need? And how many eggs for the cake?” She buys three bottles of juice, a lot of fruit, and some cheese. “We don't need much sugar,” she says. “The fruit is sweet!”
