Ethan leaves his bag on the train. His laptop and wallet are inside. What now?
Read
Yesterday evening, I took the train home from work. I was reading a book on the train. When it stopped at my station, I stepped onto the platform and walked toward the exit. Two minutes later, I realized my mistake: my bag was still on the train. My laptop and my wallet were in it.
At first, I felt terrible. Then I ran to the station office and told the worker everything. 'Trains go to the Central Station,' she said. 'Call the lost and found office there.' I called, and a man asked me to describe my bag.
'A black bag with a red book inside,' I said. 'We have it,' he answered. 'A passenger found it on the train.' This morning, I picked up my bag. Everything was inside. I felt so relieved. From now on, I will be more careful.
