Stop saying: “This phone is more better than my old one.”

Say instead: “This phone is better than my old one.” · A2 · Grammar

✗ Wrong

This phone is more better than my old one.

✓ Correct

This phone is better than my old one.

Why?

Better is already the comparative form of good, so it never needs more. The same rule covers worse, bigger, and happier: choose one comparative form, not two. Say better, not more better.
