Stop saying: “We discussed about the new plan.”
Say instead: “We discussed the new plan.” · B1 · Prepositions
✗ Wrong
We discussed about the new plan.
✓ Correct
We discussed the new plan.
Why?
Discuss already includes the idea of talking about something, so it takes a direct object with no preposition. Say discuss the plan, discuss the problem, discuss your ideas. If you want about, use talk instead: talk about the plan.
